The staff that helped my spouse and I were not only patient and accepting of our needs but actually listened to our requests and guidelines. I had an amount for my budget in mind and they met that and even offered some affordable options and packages to add on to protect my purchase including special offers I didn’t have to ask for. The salesperson Jason was extremely patient time and time again sending him back to retrieve estimate after estimate with a smile and enthusiasm. I enjoyed my experience at the dealership and I felt comfortable about the entire purchase experience. I recently brought my truck to the dealership on a Sunday night, and it remained there for nine days without any progress. Despite making 11 calls for updates, I received no callbacks. On two occasions, I managed to speak with someone who assured me that my truck would be pulled in for service. However, after being told it would be addressed on Tuesday, I followed up multiple times throughout the week, only to find out on Thursday that it had still not been touched. After multiple calls on Friday and Monday with no response, I decided to visit the dealership in person. To my dismay, my truck had yet to be pulled in for service. Frustrated, I took my keys and brought my truck to another mechanic, who completed the work in just two hours. All of this was for a simple driver code issue. This experience was extremely disappointing due to the lack of communication and service at the dealership.

Dropped by without an appointment to the Quick Lube. Got right in and was greeted by an exceptional young man that was courteous, respectful and helpful. I had a couple of specific request for the technician who would be doing the oil change. It was nice to be able to talk directly to the technician. Again found a very courteous, respectful and helpful young man. I requested the font end to be lubed and gave him a bottle to collect an oil sample. All was greeted with a smile and a can do attitude. Service was completed as expected and in a timely manner. The initial greeter showed me the paperwork and collected my payment and had included a military discount. ( Thank you very much). When I got in the truck, the oil sticker was on the upper corner of my windshield and the DIC was displaying oil change 100%. I could not have been more please with my experience at Swickard GMC Palmer!

The handful of times we have brought our vehicle into the dealership for service, They have had to reschedule because they didn’t have the parts. This happened again when dealing with a recall on our truck, we also had our oil changed and asked for - fuel filter to be changed. The fuel filter was not changed, and the parts were not available yet again for the recall on the truck. Every time this results in us having to take off of work yet another time to bring the vehicle in. This is not only super inconvenient but a waste of my vacation days.

I came in with two issues for my 2020 Silverado 1/2 ton 3.0 Duramax, the two dealerships said in Anchorage said it would be month or more before they could even look, WHILE THEY kept my truck. Wasilla Chevy never called me back. Swickard said it would be days I dropped off my Truck, Tabby,( I think?) was my service rep. We discussed the needed repairs as well as additional items i needed like transmission oil change and 50K service. She explained all the packages what and why and let me pick what i wanted and needed. We omitted, the oil change because it had just been completed. Two days later my truck was fixed minus a transmission issue thats awaiting parts. Over all I’m thrilled so far with how Swickard has dealt with me and they have definitely earned my business going forward.

This was my second visit to your dealership, my initial visit you promptly fixed an issue that was covered under extended coverage. And upon that visit, I was told there was an additional problem with my transmission, and they needed to order parts of which they said it would be sometime before my parts arrive. After a 3 to 4 week away, I was informed the parts were in, however after dropping off my vehicle I was told that they could find no issues with my transmission even after your technicians and employees examined my vehicle to begin with and order the parts and said they were necessary. I got conflicting information from several different employees, which was frustrating, especially after having waiting a month and not being able to use my truck when and then told there was nothing wrong that to begin with. My service appt. was for an oil change. I was informed I needed my cabin filter replaced, which I already knew because my car said I had 25% life in it. I agreed to replace. At the end of my service, I was given a link to pay my bill. I thought $290 was high for this service. I paid and left. When I got home, I tried to open my invoice that I paid, but the link was no longer valid. I called the service department and asked to have a detailed invoice emailed to me. They struggled to provide, but when they sent me it wasn't detailed, just showing the total. I looked up the cabin filter price, and it showed a price under $50. I have yet to receive a detailed invoice for the amount I paid, and to top it off, my car still shows my air filter is less than 25% and suggests I replace it soon! The beginning of my service experience was friendly and professional. The bill issue, along with my car telling me I need to replace my air filter soon, still showing 25% tells me I did not get what I paid for.

Scheduling person had no idea of the volume of work scheduled in the shop. Truck was at the dealer all day for an oil change and fuel filter. I provided my own oil and the cost was still $405 for a basic service. When I got home I noticed the grease zerks hadn’t been greased and the washer fluid was low. It’s clear the service was incomplete which is entirely unacceptable. I use Swickard because of the warranty on my truck but will be looking for an alternative for my service from now on. I am not impressed and honestly have no confidence that the correct servicing is being performed.

It’s not really with the dealership except for my parts of the promised and then they do not show up and then I get told that it’s gonna be another two weeks took my car in to get a part put in. They did not do it but they had my car all day long. My vehicle is about six months old. He bought a brand new and I have now been into your dealership with my car six or seven times because there’s constantly something breaking on my vehicle and the link system still does not give me my hotspot. I’m bringing it back in tomorrow to get my turn signal fixed and to see if they can figure out what’s going on with my hotspot. I am not happy with my Acadia because having a vehicle for six months I should not have to be fixing multiple parts and items on it and now I’m going two months without my hotspot. I don’t find that acceptable. I have had GMC‘s in the past and I have not had this much problems with them. I don’t know if I got a bad batch of a vehicle but the Acadia I should not have to be fixing so many different parts on it and taking it to, and from the dealership. My whole tail light went out, my Telematic unit, it was making a rattling sound with the seatbelt, and then my turn signal switch.

I purchased a set of tires from Swickard of Palmer and scheduled installation for 2:00 pm Tuesday October 28th. I arrived at 1:45 pm and was told there was a slight delay. I was going to wait there for installation but when 3:30pm arrived I got a ride to take care of some errands. I returned at 5:50 pm and my truck was up on the rack and the tire installation was not complete. After completion of the installation and the service tech's test drive was completed, i was able to leave there at about 6:30PM. Why did I get a 2:00pm appointment if the work was not completed until 6:30pm. The job was originally estimated to be about one hour +/-

Oil change scheduled for 7am. Wasn’t brought onto the rack until 7:20 ish. Wasn’t fully done until like 8:15. Not exactly “quick” lube and didn’t start at the actual appointment time. Next - i KNOW we got the maintenance package when we bought this truck from you, bundled with the full extended service contract and gap coverage… I remember signing my initials on getting the maintenance package when initially shown to us. However, that was somehow not recorded in any of paperwork or the system so my husband still had to pay the 180 dollars for the oil change to get the truck out yesterday, when we were expecting it to be covered fully under the service/maintenance contract we asked for when we bought the truck. Will not be returning to this location with how every interaction here so far has been, unless it’s an absolute need and no where else is available.

I requested to have my tire rotated at my first service and was told they would do so. In looking at the service summary when it was emailed to me later in the day, it was clearly noted that I requested to do this and it was NOT done anyway, despite being verbally told at check out that it WAS completed.

Service was excellent. Tyler greeted me as soon as I get out of the truck. He checked me in quickly and gave me a good estimate of when the truck should be completed. Tyler called me to let me know my truck was ready to be picked up. The service technician sent me a short video of the safety checks on my truck. When I arrived to pick up the truck, Tyler had all the information ready to go and check me out quickly. The whole process was very stressless.

I was there for an oil change. My previous two oil changes resulted in return trips to get the chassis lubed. First, my online-scheduled appointment was not confirmed but they got me in. Second, this oil change was to be no charge due to the poor service on the previous two. When my service was nearly complete, I reminded the service advisor of the reason this service was free and asked him to confirm that the chassis had been lube. When he asked the tech if he had lubed the chassis (the truck was already off the rack), the tech said no, he could not do it because the grease gun broke and they didn't have another one. I was pretty upset and just walked away without saying anything. Twenty minutes later, I was told the truck was done. I looked at the left upper ball joint and it did have grease on it. I have not yet checked the other ball joints nor have I looked at the tie rod ends, but I will.

First of all, my salesman Matt Eason was outstanding. He is very knowledgeable about the vehicles he is selling and seems like an all-around awesome guy.
